The book documents the cultural history of this massive construction project and my photographs showcase its epic scale, and the the men and women who brought it to life.

The gallery is located just one block from the brand-new Wilshire/Fairfax station on the Metro D Line as well as Metro Bus Lines 720 and 20. There is also limited parking onsite.

Webinar - Photography of Los Angeles Transit Construction - A Talk with Ken Karagozian

Please join me for a webinar presentation as I discuss the Los Angeles transit project that I have been documenting for the past 30 years. My presentation will focus on the Hollywood Red Line which goes back to the early 1990s when I first began photographing the underground subway project. I will also discuss other projects including the Gold Line Extension, the Regional Connector, the 6th St Bridge, and the Purple Line extension along Wilshire Blvd.

I will hold a Q&A session following my presentation.
